Achieving the highest possible Defaqto ratings year on year is no mean feat. These ratings are independently researched and assessed by industry experts, who select and analyse up to 100 features for every product across the entire market.

Here’s how Defaqto rated us this year:
Gold for service
Parmenion are rated Gold in three areas: Platform Service, DFM Service and SIPP Service. These are the highest available ratings and particularly pleasing because they take into account feedback from the people whose views matter to us most – advisers and administrators.
5 Stars for proposition
We’ve achieved 5 Stars for our Adviser Platform and our MPS DFM offer, while our Parmenion SIPP has 5-star ratings in both the Drawdown and Personal Pension categories. These ratings are based on scoring each of those propositional features against published criteria. The scoring is interrogated, debated and updated each year by an industry forum.
Risk rated portfolios
Defaqto’s Engage and Centra (SimplyBiz) advice systems help advisers to recommend portfolios to their clients through a range of advice journeys and using a variety of risk profiling tools. To support those journeys, the following Parmenion portfolios are risk rated by Defaqto:

Defaqto’s Diamond ratings assess performance for risk adjusted efficiency, consistency and cost effectiveness – key characteristics to retain confidence in investment solutions.
All our Risk Rated portfolios in the list above have achieved 5 Diamond ratings, with the exception of Conviction and Tactical Income which both have 4 Diamond ratings. This is the first year that Guardian and Tactical Active solutions have been rated, so it’s an impressive start for both solutions to be rated at the highest level.
Ratings do make a difference
