Fundraising Christmas Tree

A season of giving at Parmenion

We’ve been getting into the festive spirit at Parmenion, with our Social and Charity Committees creating a calendar of festive events that helped to raise £1,120 for local and national charities.

Our Christmas Season began with our Giving Tree, with all the gifts going to the Keynsham Children’s Centre Services. To make sure families facing a difficult Christmas got what they really need (and to avoid lots of plastic and packaging), we asked our staff to donate warm blankets, pyjamas, hats and gloves.

68 people also bought 510 raffle tickets for our annual Christmas Raffle, raising more than £1,000 for  the Grand Appeal, Bristol Children's Hospital's official fundraiser to help save sick children’s lives and supporting their families.

And to top it off, we took part in Christmas Jumper Week, with staff wearing their most festive outfits (think light-up jumpers, reindeer hats and Santa hats), all in aid of Save The Children, and raising a further £100.
