Award-winning discretionary fund manager and adviser platform Parmenion is today pleased to announce a number of changes to its Investment Management team.

Managing Director Peter Dalgliesh becomes Chief Investment Officer, tasked with being the strategic leader for Parmenion’s offering to advisers and growing assets within the Parmenion Investment Management and Affinity solutions.

Investment Director Harry Garrett becomes Head of Investment, responsible for the management, structure, oversight and delivery of Parmenion Investment Management’s solutions.

They both take on their new roles with immediate effect.

“We want to strengthen our market position, and to do this we need more prominent figureheads at the helm of our investment business,” said Martin Jennings, Chief Executive Officer at Parmenion. “Peter and Harry have extensive investment experience and having been with the company for many years are ideally placed to lead our standing amongst advisers and the wider investment community. I congratulate them on their new roles and look forward to them playing their part in the delivery of our strategic growth ambitions.”

Harry Garrett said: “I joined PIM in 2013 when assets were significantly below £1bn, and I have seen first-hand the impressive growth of the business to date. I am a passionate believer in what we do and the value we provide to advisers and their clients. I am delighted to have been given the opportunity to enhance our proposition and ensure we continue to deliver great outcomes.”

Peter Dalgliesh added: “I’m delighted to take on this role at an exciting and challenging time for our industry when advisers’ investment solutions for their clients are, more than ever under the spotlight. I look forward to continuing to build Parmenion’s investment proposition and serving the advice community.”

This year has seen considerable change at Parmenion as it invests in its service and offering. The platform has added model portfolios from several leading wealth managers to its adviser proposition as well as new capability such as flexi ISA, new multi pot capabilities and integrating with FINIO for transaction data. Parmenion plans to unveil more new features and product changes to its proprietary platform and investment range over the coming months.
