10% loss notifications: we’ve listened

As you know, MiFID II regulation means we need to let our clients know when the value of their investments drops by more than 10% (and then by further multiples of 10%).

Because we operate under an ‘Agent As Client’ model for our investment management services, we’ll provide you with details of the loss reporting.  You can then decide how you want to communicate with your clients.

With a lot of these notifications currently going out, many of you have told us it’s been challenging to match the portfolio codes to individual clients.

Making life easier for you

That’s why we’ve built a new, automated, daily CSV report that’ll sit securely behind your Adviser Login.  The report breaks down all of the loss notifications for your clients by day and includes:

  • Client ID and Name
  • Portfolio Number
  • Investment Solution and Risk Grade
  • Start and end investment values and the percentage drop

When can I access the new report?

The new report will start appearing in your Documents area under the Adviser Requested Documents from the 25th March.

It will appear any day where there are loss notifications for your clients.

Where do I find it?

Just login to the platform and navigate to documents:

Click on the green + symbol to the right of Adviser Requested documents. This will expand the menu where you’ll see the new report. Click on it to download.

Each report will be date stamped, so that you know which report relates to which day.
